The fans are pretty much aware of the fact that a Top Gun sequel is in the pipeline as the filmmakers have moved forward to give life to the 3 decades-old character of Maverick. Still in development, Top Gun: Maverick shows a number of United States Navy fighter jets dominating the sky. Admired for wearing the Top Gun Maverick Tom Cruise Jacket, Tom Cruise has even come up with a statement confirming all the scenes fighter jets flying are real.
As Cruise made a surprise appearance in San Diego Comic-Con 2019, he said: “And everything you see in this film, obviously it’s for real. So the flying, we’re working with the Navy. All the flying you see in this picture all of it is real. I really wanted to give you all an experience of what it is to be inside that aircraft.” But did it really surprise the fans? Not at all, and the reason is quite simple. Even in the first edition of the film, the US Navy allowed the filmmakers a few of its fighter jets to be captured in the camera by charging a jaw-dropping amount of money. This was later revealed after the film successfully hit the box office and paved the way for Tom Cruise to enter the club of Hollywood's mainstream actors. Historically, Top Gun became the first film to feature the United States Navy and shooting their fighter jets to make the scenes look real which surely has never done before. While the fans are eagerly waiting for the film to release globally, fashion-minded followers of the American superstar are expecting to see the handsome man in the New Top Gun Bomber Brown Flight Leather Jacket getting back to the World's greatest academy of pilots to train the newcomers.
